Hunton Announces Key Leadership Appointments

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce several key leadership appointments, effective April 1, 2025. These appointments highlight the exceptional leadership and dedication of each individual in advancing the firm’s goals of fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

John Delionado, a litigation partner and former Assistant United States Attorney, has become the Miami office managing partner. Since joining the Miami office in 2005, Delionado has held a number of leadership roles concentrating on recruitment and mentorship, including serving as the Miami hiring partner and serving on the firm’s Associates Committee. He succeeds Juan Enjamio who has led the Miami office since 2012.

Structured finance partner, Rudene Haynes, has become the Richmond office managing partner. A member of the firm’s Executive Committee and firmwide co-hiring partner, Haynes is also a recognized figure in the Richmond community as evidenced by her numerous accolades and community affiliations. She steps into the role previously held by Doug Granger who has served since 2017.

M&A partner, Steve Haas, has become a co-head of the firm’s Corporate team. Since 2017, Haas has served as co-head of the firm’s M&A practice. In addition to being a recognized thought leader in his field, Haas serves as Chair of the American Bar Association’s Corporate Laws Committee, is a Fellow in the American College of Governance Counsel and was elected to the American Law Institute in 2021.

Deidre Duncan has become head of the firm’s Administrative Law Group. She has led the firm’s Environmental practice since 2017 and focuses her practice on permitting, compliance and litigation relating to environmental statutes. Duncan assumed this position from Eric Murdock who served as the team’s administrative partner from 2015 to 2017, before becoming its head in 2017.

Jamie Head has become head of the firm’s Energy and Infrastructure team. With extensive experience on large-scale infrastructure developments and public-private partnerships around the world, Head also leads the firm’s Agency Finance practice. He succeeds Jeff Schroeder who has led the Energy and Infrastructure team since 2011.
